Gradonačelnik Milan Bandić pridružio se obilježavanju 172. obljetnica rođenja našega velikog književnika Augusta Šenoe kod njegova spomenika na uglu stare Vlaške, ulice u kojoj je živio.

Uz pjesme kantautora Nevena Duževića i Šenoine stihove u izvedbi članova Udruge umjetnika August Šenoa, obilježena je 172. obljetnica rođenja našega velikog književnika kod njegova spomenika na uglu stare Vlaške, ulice u kojoj je živio.

Svečanosti se pridružila i supruga pokojnog Šenoinog unuka Zdenka Marija Šenoa te zagrebački gradonačelnik Milan Bandić koji je istaknuo da od Augusta Šenoe, našeg velikana književnosti, možemo naučiti kako se voli domovina i grad i da nam može biti svjetionik u ovim teškim vremenima.
