Zamjenica gradonačelnika Grada Zagreba Sandra Švaljek otvorila je 22. memorijalni međunarodni stolnoteniski turnir Antun Tova Stipančić.

Zamjenica gradonačelnika Grada Zagreba Sandra Švaljek,u društvu s predsjednikom Stolnoteniskog saveza Zagreb Dragutinom Šurbekom, otvorila je u Domu sportova 22. memorijalni međunarodni stolnoteniski turnir Antun Tova Stipančić. 

Svi koji prate stolni tenis i znaju ponešto o tom sportu znaju za stolnotenisku legendu Antuna Stipančića i lijepo je da se na taj način sjećamo našeg velikog sportaša. Ovaj Turnir na kojem sudjeluju natjecatelji iz 20 zemalja je još jedan dokaz da grad Zagreb zna organizirati velika sportska natjecanja, rekla je zamjenica Švaljek.
 
U proteklih 20 godina održavanja turnir je prerastao u jedno od najkvalitetnijih stolnoteniskih natjecanja u ovom dijelu Europe, a na ovogodišnjem će u dva dana trajanja, u 10 pojedinačnih natjecateljskih disciplina sudjelovati više od 500 stolnotenisača iz Hrvatske i svijeta.
