Intercultural Events as Part of European Mobility Week
16–22 September
Zagreb is celebrating the 25th anniversary edition of European Mobility Week, with more than 150 free activities taking place at numerous locations across the city.
The central event will take place on Sunday, 20 September, at Cvjetni Square, featuring an all-day programme for all generations, including concerts by Luzer and Z++, a children’s cycling event, roller skating, and many other activities.

We would also like to highlight the intercultural events taking place on Saturday, 19 September, which focus on the experiences of people on the move.

Join Nawar Ghanim Murad, originally from Iraq, on a walking tour of central Zagreb. Together, we will explore the city centre, its history and interesting stories, while also hearing how he experiences the city he now calls home.

Abdoulie Jobe, originally from The Gambia, will talk about life in Zagreb and his connection to the neighbourhood where he lives. Through his story, we will discover the places and people that shape his everyday life and hear how he found his place in Zagreb.
Screening of the Documentary Behind a Smile

The documentary Behind a Smile follows a fourteen-year-old boy who, fleeing war and forced recruitment, leaves Aleppo and embarks on the dangerous Balkan route towards Germany. In a refugee camp in Croatia, he meets volunteer Ena-Sanan, who provides him with protection and support, while he continues his struggle to reunite with his family.
Interkulturna događanja u sklopu Europskog tjedna mobilnosti
Od 16. do 22. rujna Zagreb obilježava jubilarno 25. izdanje Europskog tjedna mobilnosti s više od 150 besplatnih aktivnosti na brojnim lokacijama diljem grada.
Središnje događanje održat će se u nedjelju, 20. rujna na Cvjetnom trgu, gdje je predviđen cjelodnevni program za sve generacije, uključujući koncerte Luzera i Z++, dječju biciklijadu, rolanje te brojne druge aktivnosti.

U šetnji s Nawarom Ghanimom Muradom, koji dolazi iz Iraka, upoznat ćemo središte Zagreba, njegovu povijest i zanimljivosti, ali i čuti kako on doživljava grad u kojem danas živi.

Projekcija dokumentarnog filma „Iza jednog osmijeha“

Dokumentarni film „Iza jednog osmijeha“ prati četrnaestogodišnjeg dječaka koji, bježeći od rata i prisilne regrutacije, napušta Alep i kreće opasnom balkanskom rutom prema Njemačkoj. U izbjegličkom kampu u Hrvatskoj upoznaje volonterku Enu- Sanan, koja mu pruža zaštitu i podršku, dok on nastavlja svoju borbu za ponovno okupljanje obitelji.
