The One Stop Shop was created as a result of years of integration efforts and the City of Zagreb’s participation in projects related to the integration and inclusion of migrants and refugees into Croatian society. This is why it is one of the planned measures in the City of Zagreb’s Action Plan for the implementation of the Charter of Integrating Cities for 2023 and 2024, which involves the establishment and opening of the One Stop Shop – a unique central point for informing applicants for international protection, individuals granted international or temporary protection, and foreign workers with residence and work permits – the first service of its kind in the Republic of Croatia.
The designated business premises for the One Stop Shop are located in Zagreb, Petrinjska Street 31 (intended for receiving clients and the permanent presence of office staff and representatives from the Croatian Red Cross) and Petrinjska Street 73 (intended for holding workshops, language courses, etc., in cooperation with civil society organizations).
In addition to providing information about all available services and rights under the responsibility of the City of Zagreb, clients will also be able to receive information about the implementation and inclusion in other integration activities carried out by the City of Zagreb within its Action Plan. At the One Stop Shop (Welcome Center), all administrative requirements will be prepared, which, with the assistance of office staff, will be completed and forwarded to contact points – specific individuals from the relevant administrative bodies appointed by department heads.
Additionally, informational materials, brochures, etc., related to rights and obligations within the state's jurisdiction, are prepared in the space for the Center’s users.
