Gradonačelnik Milan Bandić otvorio je u Domu sportova humanitarno taekwondo natjecanje 19. Jastreb Open – Kup Veleposlanika Republike Koreje, najveće međunarodno natjecanje za djecu i mlade u Hrvatskoj. Natjecanje se održava po pokroviteljstvom predsjednice Republike Hrvatske, Središnjeg državnog ureda za šport, gradonačelnika Grada Zagreba i Gradske skupštine Grada Zagreba, a prikupljena sredstva namijenjena su za kupnjo elektromotornih kolica 16-ogodišnjoj učenici Niki Rogar.
Ovdje smo danas kako bi promovirali sport, a i zbog naše Nike kojoj želim sve najbolje, rekao je gradonačelnik te poželio puno uspjeha svim natjecateljima.
Na turniru, kojeg organizira taekwondo klub Jastreb u suradnji s Veleposlanstvom Republike Koreje, sudjeluje oko 820 natjecatelja iz zemlje i inozemstva, a ovogodišnja novost je natjecateljska disciplina Family Kick u kojoj se istovremeno zajedničkim snagama natječu djeca i roditelji.
