Gradonačelnik grada Zagreba Milan Bandić primio je danas u Gradskoj upravi biskupa iz austrijskog Eisenstadta, dr. Egidija Živkovića.
Biskup se zahvalio u ime svih Gradišćanskih Hrvata te napomenuo kako Grad Zagreb već dugi niz godina njeguje plodonosan prijateljski odnos s Gradišćanskim Hrvatima.
Na sastanku je dogovorena suradnja i pokroviteljstvo Grada Zagreba i gradonačelnika Milana Bandića za koncert zbora Pax et Bonum, zbora kojeg čini 160 Gradišćanskih Hrvata s područja Austrije, Mađarske i Slovačke, a koji će se održati 13. listopada 2019. u koncertnoj dvorani Vatroslav Lisinski. Sva sredstva od prodaje ulaznica bit će namijenjena za pomoć Vukovaru i Vukovarcima.
Na kraju susreta, gradonačelnik i biskup izmijenili su prigodne poklone te je istaknuta obostrana želja za još boljim odnosom i komunikacijom između Hrvata koji žive na spomenutim područjima i građana grada Zagreba.
Uz biskupa, izaslanstvo iz Eisenstadta činili su mag. sc. fra Božidar Blažević, delegat biskupije Eisenstadt za Hrvatsku i BiH te pastoralni asistent biskupije maestro Ivo Šeparović (dirigent, glazbenik i voditelj zbora).
