Gradonačelnik Milan Bandić sa suradnicima sastao se s izaslanstvom Vijeća romske nacionalne manjine Grada Zagreba koje je predvodio predsjednik Neđatin Kamberovski.
Na sastanku u zgradi Gradske uprave se između ostalog razgovaralo o problemima s kojima se susreću Romi te o pružanju podrške pripadnicima romske manjine.
Zahvaljujemo gradonačelniku na velikome razumijevanje koje iskazuje za romsku zajednicu tijekom svih 15 godina otkada je ustrojeno Vijeće romske nacionalne manjine Grada Zagreba, nakon sastanka je za medije izjavio predsjednik Kamberovski.
Kao gosti sastanku su nazočili i predstavnici romske manjine iz Crne Gore i Makedonije – predsjednik i tajnica Romskog savjeta Crna Gora Isen Gaši i Ana Popović te bivši ministar zadužen za provedbu Strategije za Rome u Vladi Makedonije Mustafa Nezhdet i romski aktivist Kjazim Skender, a koji su u posjetu Zagrebu zbog obilježavanja Dana Vijeća romske nacionalne manjine Grada Zagreba i 15 godina uspješnog rada koju sutra, 29. studenoga obilježavaju u Europskome domu.
Cilj nam je da gostima malo pobliže predstavimo način rješavanja romskih problema u Zagrebu, dodao je Kamberovski. Nezhdet je naglasio da je razmjena iskustava uvijek dobrodošla jer se njome može postići veća integriranost Roma u društvo.
