U povodu blagdana sv. Nikole, gradonačelnik Milan Bandić, sa suradnicima, tradicionalno je u Studentskom centru, uručio slatke poklon-pakete djeci hrvatskih branitelja iz obitelji slabijeg materijalnog stanja. Osim poklona, Grad Zagreb je za djecu organizirao i predstavu Krampusov bicikl.
Pročelnica Gradskog ureda za branitelje Vesna Helfrih napomenula je da je poklone dobilo 250 djece uzrasta do 12 godina. Svake godine za blagdan sv. Nikole nastojimo razveseliti djecu naših branitelja s poklonima i priredbom.
