Uz zvuke tradicionalnih božićnih pjesama zbora Treća mladost, gradonačelnik Grada Zagreba Milan Bandić je preuzeo je Betlehemsko svjetlo – Svjetlo mira što su ga u aulu Gradske uprave unijeli članovi Zagrebačkoga skautskog zbora.
Riječ je o tradiciji započetoj u Beču prije tridesetak godina i radoprihvaćenoj u Zagrebu.
Zahvalivši svima koji su došli, gradonačelnik je izrazio želju da ovo svjetlo mira, nade, ljubavi, solidarnosti i zajedništva obasja građane Zagreba i sve ljude dobre volje.
Betlehemsko svjetlo se u aulu Gradske uprave unosi već 14 godina zaredom, a koordinatorica iz Zagrebačkoga skautskog zbora Višnja Sremić je istaknula da je ovogodišnji moto Izviđači i skauti dijele mir na razne načine.
Zamjenica zagrebačkog gradonačelnika Olivera Majić je rekla kako je ovo simbolično mjesto, mjesto zajedništva s kojeg gradonačelnik u ovo blagdansko doba svim građanima upućuje iskrene čestitke.
Betlehemsko svjetlo u auli Gradske uprave ostaje gorjeti sve do Badnjaka, a svi koji žele mogu ga prenijeti i u svoje domove.
