Već 15. godinu zaredom, zagrebački skauti donijeli su Betlehemsko svjetlo mira u Gradsku upravu. Zagrebački skautski zbor tradicionalno preuzima Svjetlo u Beču, te ga po protokolu prvo unose u Prvostolnicu, Zagrebačku katedralu.
Uputivši zahvalu skautskom zboru, gradonačelnik Milan Bandić zaželio je da domove svih nas obasja svjetlost. "Neka svjetlo mira, ljubavi i dobrote pobijedi tamu. Budimo u 2020. još bolji ljudi."
Pozdrave svih skauta Hrvatske okupljenima je prenijela koordinatorica programa za Betlehemsko svjetlo Zagrebačkog skautskog zbora Višnja Sremić, a jedna od skautkinja pročitala je Poruku mira i ljubavi. Za glazbeni dio svečanosti bio je zadužen zbor mladih župe Sv. Leopolda Mandića u Dubravi "Voluntas tua".
