Zamjenik gradonačelnika Grada Zagreba Luka Korlaet prisustvovao je svečanom otvorenju Lions Europa Foruma – Zagreb 2022, čiji je humanitarni cilj kupnja kombi vozila za transplantacijski tim Kliničke bolnice Merkur.
„Drago mi je što se ovogodišnji Forum odvija u Zagrebu, pružajući nam na taj način priliku i zadovoljstvo ugostiti više od 700 članova Lions Internationala, najveće svjetske nevladine humanitarne organizacije.“, rekao je zamjenik Korlaet. Istaknuo je važnost humanitarnog rada organizacije i njihov fokus na ranjive skupine društva.
„Nismo zaboravili Vašu velikodušnu pomoć stanovnicima Markuševca i Banovine nakon potresa, te Vam ovom prilikom zahvaljujem i u njihovo ime.“, dodao je zamjenik Korlaet. Pozvao je sudionike Foruma na istraživanje Zagreba i njegovih brojnih kulturnih i povijesnih sadržaja.
Osim zamjenika Korlaeta, sudionicima Foruma obratili su se i predsjednik Foruma Dražen Melčić, guverner Lions Distrikta 126 – Hrvatska i ministar vanjskih i europskih poslova Republike Hrvatske Gordan Grlić Radman.
