Zamjenik gradonačelnika na proslavi dana Filozofskog fakulteta

Zamjenik gradonačelnika Luka Korlaet prisustvovao je danas svečanosti u povodu obilježavanja Dana filozofskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.
Čestitajući djelatnicima i studentima 148. obljetnicu, zamjenik Korlaet je posebno naglasio važnost Filozofskog kao generatora promjena i razvoja kritičke misli. „Ostali ste nositelji kritičke misli i humanističkog napretka te su upravo alumniji i profesori društvenih i humanističkih znanosti odredili živote mnogih od nas.“
Prof. dr. sc. Stjepan Lakušić, rektor Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, posebno je pohvalio Fakultet koji, kako je naglasio, gleda smjerove budućnosti i kritički se postavlja na sve ono što se događa danas te konstruktivnim promišljanjem nastoji neke stvari unaprijediti.
Filozofski fakultet kao dio Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, najstarija je i najveća hrvatska znanstvena i visokoškolska ustanova u humanističkim i društvenim znanostima te institucija s najduljom tradicijom izobrazbe nastavnika u Hrvatskoj. S radom su počeli kao Mudroslovni fakultet još 1874. godine, a 19. listopada svake godine obilježavaju Dan fakulteta.
