Podsjećamo kako je cilj preliminarne procjene oštećenja utvrđivanje stupnja oštećenja zgrada u odnosu na zaštitu života i imovine, odnosno određivanje je li zgrada uporabljiva, neuporabljiva ili privremeno neuporabljiva. Ocjena se može odnositi na cijelu zgradu ili na pojedini dio zgrade, a preglede obavljaju građevinski stručnjaci.
