Danas je započela edukacija osposobljavanja pripadnika zapovjedne strukture civilne zaštite gradskih četvrti Grada Zagreba u Vatrogasnom učilištu koju organizira Ured za upravljanje u hitnim situacijama u suradnji s područnim uredom Državne uprave za zaštitu i spašavanje. Zapovjednu strukturu u gradskim četvrtima čine zapovjedništva gradskih četvrti od po 8 članova koje je imenovala Gradska skupština Grada Zagreba te zapovjednik tima i zapovjednici skupina za svaku gradsku četvrt. Tijekom travnja i svibnja održat će se edukacija za svih 17 gradskih četvrti, a edukaciju će završiti oko 200 pripadnika zapovjedništava. Osposobljavanje će se provoditi u trajanju od 8 školskih sati, a obuhvaćat će upoznavanje sa sustavom civilne zaštite na području Republike Hrvatske i Grada Zagreba te simulacijsku vježbu koordinacije između zapovjedništava gradskih četvrti i zapovjedništava operativnih snaga civilne zaštite. Vježba traje dva sata prema scenariju koji previđa veliku nesreću poput potresa, poplave zbog bujičnih voda i slično.
