Kako biti podrška djeci i mladima u kriznim okolnostima?

U dvostruko kriznim okolnostima nužno je djeci i mladima pružiti psihosocijalnu podršku kako bi se smanjila njihova uznemirenost, strah i psihološka patnja koji mogu kratkoročno i dugoročno ugroziti njihovo mentalno zdravlje te kako bi se uspostavio osjećaj ne samo fizičke nego i psihološke sigurnosti. To je iznimno važno za dugoročnu dobrobit djece i razvoj njihovog potencijala za posttraumatski rast.
UNICEF je u suradnji s Društvom za psihološku pomoć na terenu organizirao mobilne timove za psihosocijalnu podršku djeci i obiteljima koji su i ranije živjeli u teškim okolnostima.
