Danas je u društvu suradnika zagrebački gradonačelnik Milan Bandić posjetio obitelji Petvajdić iz Čučerja koja je u nedavnom požaru ostala bez obiteljskog doma.
''Djela govore više od tisuću riječi! Nisam došao odmah istu večer jer tada još nisam imao rješenje za tešku sudbinu koja je zadesila obitelj Bedvajdić. U ova dva dana, zajedno s predsjednikom Vijeća gradske četvrti Donja Dubrava Milanom Draženovićem i ravnateljicom dječjeg vrtića u Donjoj Dubravi našli smo rješenje za obitelj kojoj smo iznajmili stan a djeda smo smjestili u gradski dom. U znak pažnje donijeli smo i sitne poklone za Božić. Naravno da ove godine, i zbog potresa i zbog zabrane okupljanja zbog pandemije, nećemo dočekati Novu 2021 na Trgu bana Jelačića, ali ćemo sredstva namijenjena za vatromet preusmjeriti na račun obitelji za obnovu njihove kuće!'', kazao je gradonačelnik Bandić.
