Grad Zagreb je, uz još sedam regija iz zemalja članica Europske unije, jedan od partnera na provedbi EU projekta CARES-Remote Healthcare for Silver Europe, kojem je vodeći partner Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship iz Poljske. Projekt je započeo u ožujku 2023. godine, a trajati će četiri godine. Cilj projekta je unaprjeđenje lokalnih i regionalnih politika odgovornih za modernizaciju zdravstvenog sustava korištenjem inovativnih rješenja telenjege i telemedicine.
