U povodu nadoilazećih blagdana i 20. obljetnice rada i djelovanja Zajednice udruga HVIDR-a, u gradskoj su se palači Dverce danas okupili njezini članovi, ratni vojni invalidi sportaši, te zaslužni ratni vojni invalidi Domovinskog rata.

Obilježavanju obljetnice pridružili su se i gradonačelnik Milan Bandić i ministar obitelji, branitelja i međugeneracijske solidarnosti Tomislav Ivić koji su, tom prigodom, zaslužnim članovima HVIDR-e i vanjskim suradnicima uručili zahvalnice za doprinos u njenom radu.

Zaželjevši svima sretan Božić i puno sreće i zdravlja u novoj godini, gradonačelnik je istaknuo da nikada ne smijemo zaboraviti žrtvu, odlučnost i hrabrost naših branitelja.
