Povodom obilježavanja treće godišnjice početka ruske agresije na Ukrajinu i njene stanovnike, danas je na Trgu bana Jelačića održan skup podrške narodu Ukrajine u organizaciji Grada Zagreba, Veleposlanstva Ukrajine u Republici Hrvatskoj i Ukrajinske zajednice Grada Zagreba.
Svoju podršku skupu dali su gradonačelnik Grada Zagreba Tomislav Tomašević i zamjenik gradonačelnika Luka Korlaet.
"Zagreb je od prvog dana ruske agresije stajao uz Ukrajinu – i stoji i danas! Više od svega za Ukrajinu želimo mir, ali mir mora biti pravedan," rekao je gradonačelnik Tomašević te se posebno zahvalio Zagrepčanima i Zagrepčankama na dobrodošlici i otvorenosti prema svim Ukrajincima koji su u Zagrebu potražili zaštitu od ratnih stradanja.
