Večeras je u kino dvorani Kaptol Boutique Cinema gradonačelnik Grada Zagreba Tomislav Tomašević svečano otvorio 21. izdanje Međunarodnog festivala dokumentarnog filma ZagrebDox. Festival traje od 30. ožujka do 6. travnja, a publici će predstaviti čak 107 filmova u različitim kategorijama.
U svom govoru prilikom otvorenja, gradonačelnik Tomašević je istaknuo: "Iznimno smoponosni na ZagrebDox i na sve što ste postigli svojim trudom tijekom više od dva desetljeća. Festival izgleda iznimno impresivno, a nama je velika čast što ga kao Grad možemo podržati. ZagrebDox nije samo jedan od najvažnijih filmskih festivala u Zagrebu, već i jedan od najboljih festivala dokumentarnog filma u Europi. Već nekoliko godina pobjednici ZagrebDoxa izravno ulaze u nominacije za Europsku filmsku akademiju u kategoriji dokumentarnog filma, što dodatno potvrđuje njegovu međunarodnu relevantnost. Još jednom, čestitke na ovom iznimnom naslijeđu koje ste izgradili!"
Uz gradonačelnika, svečanosti otvorenja nazočili su i zamjenik gradonačelnika Luka Korlaet te pročelnica Gradskog ureda za kulturu i civilno društvo Emina Višnić.
